77th legislative biennial to be held over Fourth of July weekend

The upcoming Grand Chapter will be held July 1-5, 2009, at the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston, S.C., where Sigs and their sweethearts and children will be surrounded by history, tradition and brothers from around the globe.

Charleston is billed as a city where "300 years of history lives," and in addition to the many historical tours and sites the city offers, brothers in attendance will also bear witness to a new chapter in Sigma Chi history. Legislative sessions will address the pertinent issues facing Sigma Chi today, and the 66th Grand Consul and the 2009-11 International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi will be elected.
